Sandra Lee Lemanski

Mrs. Sandra Lee Lemanski, 87 of Lewiston, Michigan died peacefully at Munson Grayling Hospital on February 21, 2025.

She was welcomed into Heaven with outstretched arms by her late husband, Charles. Sandy was born on November 19, 1937 to Glenn and Olga (Moritz) Lewis. She has resided in Lewiston for 30 years in the home that Charlie built. Over the years she has been involved with the women of Moose, TOPS, and the Lewiston Fun Ones. She had a very strong faith in God. More importantly, she was a devoted wife and mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who loved her time spent with family and friends. She is and will be deeply missed.

Sandra is remembered by her daughter, Shirley Akey of Georgia; son, Charles (Kathy) Lemanski of Dearborn Heights; grandchildren, Keith (Erin), Megan, and Emma; great-grandchildren, Sydney and Keith Charles; brother, Glenn (Nancy) Lewis of Lincoln Park; many nieces and nephews; and many close friends who were like family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Olga Lewis; husband, Charles; and sister, Nila Long.

Visitation service for Sandra will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2025 from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Green Funeral Home, Lewiston and Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM at The Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. There will be a funeral service on Friday, February 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM at The Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes. Following the service, we will be meeting inside the gates at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery to witness the burial.
