Salvatore was born on December 5, 1946 in Cinisi, Sicily and died on October 23, 2021 at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital at the age of 74; he was of Southgate. Devoted husband of 51 years to Caterina. Loving father of Rosalie (Joe) Giammalva, Girolamo “Mimmo” (Adele) Vitale, Rosolino (Tina) Vitale and Rosalba (Brandon) Messisco. Proud nonno of Maria Rosa, Rosolino, Giuseppe, Salvatore, Alena, Alessio, Mia, and Caterina. Dearest brother of the late Vincenzo (the late Marianna) Vitale and Vito (Anna) Vitale. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Girolomo and Rosalia Vitale. Family was Salvatore’s love in life; he was an avid vegetable gardener. Memorial contributions may be made as the donor chooses. It is a requirement of the family that everyone wear a mask at all times. Thank you, The family of Salvatore Vitale
