Salvador "Bruno" Rivas, Jr. of Detroit passed away May 6, 2023. Proud father of Zackary and Dylan. Beloved son of Lynn Rivas (Martin Hernandez). Loving brother of Ruben Rivas, Javier (Sonya) Rivas, Victor Hernandez and Carolyn (Ryan) Taylor. Cherished uncle of Alexa Rivas, Solrisa Rivas, Sorella Rivas, and Serafina Rivas. Brother in law of Carina Plascencia. Dear nephew of Rita (Vicki) Garcia. Cherished cousin of John, Robert, Connie, MaryEllen and Diego Garcia.  He is survived by many aunts, uncles and other loving family members. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen and Benito Garcia, as well as his uncle Michael Garcia and aunt Cecile Garcia.

Salvador was an avid Detroit Lions Fan.

Visitation will take place at The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes - Allen Park Chapel on Thursday May 11, 2023, from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm, and Friday, May 12, 2023 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday May 13, 2023 instate at 9:30 am until mass at 10:00 am at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church.
