Sally A. Couture

Couture (nee: Coffey) was born on April 25, 1937 in Wyandotte, Michigan and died at her home in Gibraltar on October 16, 2020 at the age of 83; she was formerly of The Villages, Florida and Trenton, Michigan. Cherished wife of Martin. Loving mom of Bernice Sanders, Jeffrey Couture (Jeanne Hall), Terry Boyer, Eric (Angela) Couture, Martin “Dan” (Karen) Couture and Christopher Couture. Proud grandma of Beth, Jeremie, Andy, Jami, Luke, Jenny, Sarah, Mirissa, Drew and Katie. Great grandma of Isabella, Sam, Marina and Hadley. Dearest sister of Patricia (the late Carson) Bussell and Fran (James) Townley and dearest sister-in-law of David (Connie) Couture. Also survived by other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Daniel and Mildred (nee: Reno) Coffey. Sally’s love in life was her family; she also loved singing with many local choirs. A gathering is on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 4 – 8 pm at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. A Memorial Mass is being planned for a future date. Memorial contributions to honor Sally’s life may be made as the donor chooses. To those attending visitation and/or services for a loved one, in keeping with CDC and State of Michigan DHHS guidelines, masks and social distancing along with limitations on number of person(s) in the chapel must be followed and will be enforced.
