Beloved wife of the late Peter A. Loving mom of William and Michael. Proud grandma of Kristy Smith (David Vasas). Great grandma of Colin, Chloe and Ava. Dearest sister of Linda (Frank) Hetner. She was preceded in death by her parents Edith and William Cook. Ruth was retired from the Taylor Public School System; she enjoyed crafting and gardening. Visitation in on Monday, April 8, 2019 from 2 - 6 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). The funeral service will be on Tuesday, April 9, 2019 at 10 am at the funeral home. Interment Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions to honor Ruth’s life may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
