Ruth A. Wardell

Wardell, Ruth A. Age 90. September 3, 2008 of Trenton. Born May 31, 1918 and raised on the family farm in Minnesota. Beloved wife of 62 years to Raymond. Dearest mother of James Raymond (Barbl) and Shirley Ruth (Dale) Volkening. Beloved grandma of Aaron (Raechal), Lisa Katherine, Jeremy (Lisa Danielle), Ian and Colleen. Great grandma of Megan. Sister to Irma (Claude). Also survived by her sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and other loving family. She was preceded in death by her parents Ferdinand and Martha Heise and 3 brothers Norbert, Harold and Arno. Ruth met her husband who was a serviceman while she was an instructor for the Army Air Force. She was a longtime member of the Grosse Ile Yacht Club and the Motor City Radio Club.
