Russell W. Wischer

Russell W. Wischer of Grosse Ile, Michigan and Fort Myers, Florida, passed away on March 24, 2020. He was born in Detroit to the late Carl W. Wischer and late Anna Wischer (nee Frommert). Beloved husband of Carolyn (Pfeiffer) and the late Beverly (nee Brown). Loving and devoted father to Russell C. Wischer (deceased) and Robert W. Wischer (Gale); loving grandfather of Robert W. Wischer, Jr. (Lisa) and Todd S. Wischer; doting great-grandfather to Lauren, Michael, Kailey and Kamryn. Loving stepfather to Cindy Jobin (Ron); Lucy Ferguson (Mark) and Heidi Beaber (James). Russ was the owner of Metro Realty of Grosse Ile for over 30 years. He was also a resident of Grosse Ile and enjoyed boating and golfing. He was a member of the Grosse Ile Golf and Country Club as well as a lifetime member of the Ford Yacht Club. A memorial service will be held at a future date.
