Russell George Wenner, Jr.

Russell G. Wenner Jr., age 78, passed away April 20, 2016. He was survived by his best friend in life, Ruth Curtis; children, Susan (Rick) Marvin, Kenneth Wenner, Cynthia (Dennis LaMaster) Wenner, Paula (Michael) Conroy, James (Hilary) Wenner, and Karen (Rick) Soper; grandchildren, Wayne, Sarah, Chris, Maya, Elijah, Noah, Quinn, Casey, Cooper, Allison, Kristin, Owen, and Simon; siblings, Allen Wenner, Nancy (Teddy) Weatherford, and Patricia (Tony) Salemi; sister-in-law, Lorna Wenner; and many nieces and nephews. Russ is predeceased by his brother, Clifford Wenner and sister-in-law, Cathy Wenner. He loved his family above all but also had great passion for bowling, golfing, skiing, and playing card games. He was very active in his church life at St. Cyprian Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. Visitation Sunday, April 24, 1 – 9 p.m. with a 7 p.m. Vigil Service at the Allen Park Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Road.
