Rudolph J. Ruzza

Rudy was a faithful and loving husband of his surviving and devoted wife, Annette M Ruzza, for over 58 years. Dedicated father to John (Cheri), Rick, Lisa Kerr and Angela (John) Winegarden. Proud grandfather of four beautiful and talented grandchildren, Rachael Kerr, Brian Kerr, Stacey Kerr and Grant Ruzza Rudy was a leader, not just in his own family, but in everything he became involved in; he was an accomplished accordionist, active member of the Republican Party, an avid gardener, enjoyed dancing and playing cards, was active in his church, and excelled as a swimmer throughout his adult years. His loyalty to family and friends, generosity for sharing what his garden and fruit trees produced (including a beloved fig tree), encouragement for the underdog, steadfastness around working hard and finishing strong; making so many occasions more joyful by entertaining others with music; love of apple pie, and, perhaps most noteworthy, taking great pride in his Italian heritage – these are just some of the things that will always be remembered by those who knew and loved Rudy. Rudy graduated with a BS degree from Wayne State University in 1951 in pharmacy. For over 33 years he was a successful sales representative for Schering Plough, attaining many awards during his career, including "National Distinguished Salesman" and from where he retired in 1989. Rudy was very articulate about issues that were important to him, such as politics, and economic and financial matters. Most significantly, Rudy accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, and now resides with Him in heaven for eternity.
