Roy J. Madigan

Roy was born at home on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 1938 in Detroit, MI and died on May 30, 2020 at his home in Allen Park at the age of 81. Beloved husband of Nancy and the late Mary Ann. Loving dad of Debra (Richard) Breaks, Diane Madigan, Kelly (John) Mikolajewski and Gary (Heather) Lindsey. Proud papa of Bonnie (Jeff), Donna, Richard (Mary), Meghan, Michael, Danny, Matthew, Cora, Kyle and Kristen. Dearest brother of Lois (Robert) Alfather and Marilyn (Robert) Tisdelle. Loving uncle of too many to name but he loved them all. Also survived by many family and friends. He will be missed by his dear friend Tom (Charla) Hamilton. He proudly served his County in the United States Navy and was a retiree of General Motors. Roy’s family was his love in life and he will be greatly missed. Visitation is on Monday, June 1, 2020 from 1 pm to 4 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). The service is on Monday, June 1, 2020 at 4 pm at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made as the donor chooses. The committal service at Our Lady of Hope Cemetery will be private.
