Roy F. Cook

Roy F. Cook, age 90, passed away at 10:05 pm at his home. Roy was born in Monroe to Frank and Elizabeth (Wehner) Cook, he honorably served his country during WWII in the United States Navy, he married Evelyn M. Vayer Feb 17, 1938 in Monroe, MI. she preceded him in death in 1998. Roy was employed at Monroe Auto Equipment for 30 years, Ford Rawsonville for 20 years retiring in 1984. He was a life member of St Michael Catholic Church where he was also baptized, former member of Monroe Auto Equipment 25years Club. Roy is survived by a son Roy (Sue) Cook, 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his parents, sons William Cook and Steven Cook, daughter Jo Ann Cook-Rorke, brothers Raymond and Allen Cook a sister Elizabeth Barron and step-father Arthur Kilbury.
