Roy A. Johnson

Roy was born on March 9, 1928 in Poinsett, Arkansas and died on October 14, 2016 at Beaumont Hospital Trenton at the age of 88; he was of Allen Park. Beloved husband of 60 years to Anna. Loving dad of Judy Ann (David, Jr.) Morris and Vanessa Allene Howe. Proud papa of Kristina Allene Price, Steven Roy Howe, Shawn Ryan (Milena) Howe, David Morris, III and Megan Nicole Morris. Great grandpa "Papa" of Brendan Michael Howe and Brianna Taylor Howe. Dearest brother of Melissa, James, Janie, Dorothy, Charles, Delbert, Bud, Eugene, Barbara, the late David as well as their spouses. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Mart and Mable (nee: Lillard) Johnson. Roy was a very hard worker who retired in April of 1990 from Great Lakes Steel; his love in life was his family and he enjoyed bike riding, walking, and spending time with his loving dog Pebbles. Visitation Sunday 2 – 9 pm and Monday from 10 am until the time of the funeral service Monday at 12 noon all at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd.
