Rosetta (Santoro) Crenshaw, 88, of New Boston, formerly of Wyandotte, passed away, surrounded by her family, on Saturday, April 16, 2016. She was born July 17, 1927 in Detroit, MI to Joseph and Catherine Santoro. On November 9, 1946, she married James Crenshaw in Savannah, GA. Rosetta was a graduate of St. Frances Xavier High School in Ecorse. She will be remembered by all those who knew and loved her for her love for her children and family. She loved animals and rescued them before it was popular. She enjoyed trips to Vegas, and bingo with her sister and friends. But mostly it was the time she spent with her children and grandchildren that made her the happiest. She leaves behind her children, James T. (deceased) (Jackie) Santoro of Lincoln Park, Catherine Ann Carmack of Gregory, MI, Sharon (Ken) Belknap of New Boston, Ronald L. (Dawn) Crenshaw of Stockbridge, Lorraine (Frank) McInchak of Wyandotte, Mary Jo (Bill) Welsch of Tiffin, OH, and Rosemarie (Jim) Terwilliger of Southgate; as well as 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; and 3 siblings, Josephine Santoro of Trenton, Christina Currie of Maui, HI, and Rick (Bonnie) Gibbons of Fairfax, VA. Sadly, she was preceded in death by her sister, Eileen Fridline. Friends are invited to call at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Road, Trenton, on Tuesday from 1 PM until funeral services to commemorate her life at 7 PM. Burial will follow Wednesday 11 am at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery. The Bacarella Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements. Online condolences, and special memories, may be shared with the family by visiting the obituary page at www.bacarellafuneralhome.com.
