Rose Martha Terrasi-Kolakowski

Rose Martha Terrasi-Kolakowski, age 87 of Monroe, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 3, 2022 in her home, surrounded by her family. Born July 16, 1934 in Monroe, Rose was the daughter of Benjamin and Mary (Vitale) Terrasi. A 1952 graduate of St. Mary’s Academy, she had worked at Cunningham’s Drug Store as well as for Sister Janita at Child’s Creation. Rose was Baptized and Confirmed at St. Joseph Catholic Church, was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and volunteered for RSVP and Hospice. She was married to Frank Kolakowski who sadly preceded her in death January 1st of this year. Rose leaves to cherish her memory many nieces and nephews to include: Tom and LouAnn Harmon, Maryann and Jim Chapman, Pam and Bob Cole as well as Vickie Terrasi. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by four siblings: Carl Terrasi, Sam Terrasi, Angelo Terrasi and Virginia Rapp. Rose’s family would like to give a special thank you to her friends Sherry, Jennifer and Steve for their help.
