Roger Dale Pace

Born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, Roger was the son of Frank and Nell (Bussell) Pace. He faithfully served our country with the United States Navy. He then married the love of his life, Theresa Cousino on May 17, 1974. Sadly she preceded him in death December 31, 2014. Roger worked over 30 years for Detroit Edison at the Monroe Power Plant, as a Heavy Equipment Operator, retiring in 2010. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, tinkering in the garage, taking his GTO to car shows, but his most cherished times were those spent with his family. Roger's generosity was limitless, he would do almost anything for those who needed his help. Roger leaves to cherish his memory his children: Ronald Pace of Florida, Lori (Brian) Liedel of Ida, Desiree Pace-Harris of Monroe and Jeffrey Pace of LaSalle; eight grandchildren: Katie Lewis, Mollie Lewis, Caleb Harris, Noah Harris, Emma Harris, Jaycee Pace, Ethan Keiser and Ella Godlewski; as well a brother Scott (Barbara) Pace of Lansing and his brother-in-law Randy (Judy) Cousino of Monroe. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial contributions in honor of Roger may be to ProMedica Monroe Hospice.
