Robert Phillips

Robert was born on March 18, 1930 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on January 11, 2020 in Virginia at the age of 89; he was of Lincoln Park. Beloved husband of the late Ethel. Loving dad of Robert (Edee), Ronald (Nancy), Sandra (Wayne) Parent, Roger (Faith), Debra Humphreys (the late Timothy Robbins) and Richard (Debra). Also survived by 16 grandchildren, his great and great great grandchildren, one brother Lloyd Phillips and many other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Gracie (nee: Adkins) Phillips, four brothers and five sisters. Visitation is on Sunday, January 19, 2020 from 3 – 8 pm at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd., Allen Park. The funeral service is on Monday, January 20, 2020 at 10 am at the funeral home; Bishop Wayne Parent will officiate. Interment Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia, Michigan. Memorial contributions to honor Robert’s life may be made as the donor chooses.
