Robert M. Jackson

Born in Detroit, Robert (Bob) was the son of Robert “Bitsy” and Lois (Carson) Jackson. He proudly served our country in the United States Navy. Robert worked as a telephone repairman for Michigan Bell/Ameritech/AT&T for over 25 years. He also worked at Visteon and Pitney Bowes after retiring. Robert spent most of his adult life downriver. He enjoyed bowling, vintage cars and Detroit sports but his most treasured times were those spent with his family.

Robert leaves to cherish his memory his long-time companion Sheryl Jaworowski; his children: Brian (Amy) Jackson, Holly (Braulio Ortiz) Couture and Tracy (Eric) Honstain; two grandchildren: Cassidy Couture and Ethan Gingras; as well as three siblings: Karen (Gary) Schultz, William (Ann) Ostlund and Kimberly (Gary) Harris and many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and bonus dad Carl “Pops” Ostlund.

Memorial Contributions in honor of Robert may be made to the Colorectal Cancer Alliance or the Great Lakes Bully Brigade.
