Robert Handyside was born on February 23, 1934 in Detroit, Michigan and passed away on January 22, 2025 at the age of 90; he was of Brownstown Twp. Beloved husband of the late Mary (McElroy) Handyside. Loving dad of Robert (Lisa) Handyside. Proud grandfather of Madison, Jacob, Carson and Andrew. Dearest brother of George (the late Sandy) Handyside, Beth O’Neil and Don Handyside. Dearest uncle of Cindy (Dan) Meloche. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents George Handyside and Louise Thomas. Robert proudly served his Country in the United States Army and The Airforce and retired from Ford Motor Company after 37 years of service. Memorial contributions may be made to Bethesda Baptist Church, Allen Park.
