Robert Edwin Brain

Brain, Robert Edwin. Born March 20, 1929 in Detroit, MI to parents Alfred and Edith Brain. He was preceded in death by his loving wife Beverly J. Brain and son Jeffrey Brain. Surviving him are daughters; Sharon Leder of Lexington, KY, Claudia Brain of Calumet, MI and Pamela Manchester of Carleton, MI ; 2 grandsons David Leder of Essexville, MI and Jeffrey Manchester of Carleton, MI and 1 great grandson Joshua Plunkett of Holt, MI. Also surviving is his sister Irene (Aldon) Ellington of Lomita, CA. Robert served his country in the US Coast Guard 1946 - 1949, worked all his life as a mechanic at various places in the Detroit area and retired from Ford Motor Company in 1993. He lived in Lincoln Park 1953-2004 and spent the last 4 years in South Rockwood. He was a friend to many and will be missed by friends and his loving family
