Robert C. Henderson

Born in Monroe, Robert was the son of Robert and Lela (Cawood) Henderson. He married the love of his life, Orella "Midge" Ewing, on August 23, 1974 here in Monroe. Robert worked as the Supervisor of Grounds and Maintenance for General Automotive Corporation in Ann Arbor until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Monroe. Robert's hobbies included hunting with his grandson and friend Steve as well as camping in Adrian. Robert leaves to cherish his memory, Midge, his wife of the past 41 years; a son Ronald Henderson of Monroe; daughter Kellie Henderson of Monroe; a step-son Jeffrey (Kim) Pitt of Monroe; 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; as well 3 brothers: Joe (Karen) Henderson, Fred (Stephanie) Henderson, Clyde Henderson; and 2 sisters: Cindy Brooks and Donna (Butch) Barousse. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents; a son Robert Henderson Jr.; a daughter Mendy Henderson; a brother Chuck Henderson and a sister Sue Howard. In accordance with Robert's wishes, cremation is taking place. Memorial contributions may be made to the family through the go fund me account "We Love Bob Henderson".
