Robert J. Havican, of Trenton, passed away Monday, August 10, 2015. He was 82 years old. Bob was born on January 12, 1933 in Wyandotte, Michigan to his parents Joseph and Genevieve Havican (Raby). He proudly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War and was stationed in England. There he met the love of his life, Eileen. They were married in Northwich, England on December 24, 1955. There marriage was blessed with three children, Caryne, Robert Jr., and Mark. Robert loved to spend time with his family, especially with his only granddaughter, Lindsey. Bob also loved to golf and was a member at St. Timothy Catholic Church in Trenton. Bob was the beloved husband of the late Eileen, who preceded him in death in 2003. Dear dad of Caryne (significant other, Teri) Mender, Robert Havican, Jr., and Mark (Christine) Havican. Proud and loving papa of Lindsey (significant other, Martin) Mender. Great-grandfather of Nevaeh and Martin Cubano. Loving brother of Anita Preston and Mary Lou (John) Krida. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, and other loving family and friends. Bob was preceded in death by both of his parents. Visitation will be held at the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes on Friday from 2-9 pm, with a scripture service, at 6:30 pm. A funeral mass will be held at St. Timothy Catholic Church, 2901 Manning Street, on Saturday at 10:30 am with visitation beginning at 10 am.
