Robert B. Sauter D.O.

Dr. Robert Bryant Sauter, D.O., 88, died Tuesday, May 21, 2024. Bob was born in Gardner, MA on August 21, 1935 to parents Charles William Sauter II, D.O. and educator Helen Mae Davis Sauter. Bob was a graduate of Franklin & Marshall College of Lancaster, PA and Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He was a well-known anesthesiologist of former Trenton Riverside Osteopathic Hospital and Corewell Health Ludington Hospital. Bob was an exercise enthusiast who ran the Detroit and Boston Marathons. He was a proud fan of the Boston Celtics, Red Sox, and New England Patriots, and Riverview Pirates.

Bob is survived by his five children, Rob (Mali), Ted (Kathie), Steve (Molly), Beth (Jaimie) Plemmons, and Chad. Dearest grandfather of Rob, Emily (Gio), Brad, Garrett, Matt, Thad, Clay, Alexandra, Andrea, Claire, and Chase. Dearest great grandfather of Eloise, Gianluca, Evelyn, and Adaline. Bob is also survived by his brother Peter (Karen) and many nieces and nephews.
