Robert A. Guiney

Guiney was born on November 11, 1937 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania and died on September 2, 2021 at Beaumont Hospital Trenton at the age of 83; he was of Riverview. Beloved husband of 56 years to Nora. Loving dad of Deanne (J.D.) DeMare and Bob (Jessica) Guiney. Proud grandpa and papa of Jack Michael DeMare, Grayson Robert Guiney and Blake Barrett Guiney. Dearest brother of Laura Cantwell and the late Roberta Mansur. Also survived by many other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert L. and Helen W. (nee: Wenk) Guiney. Robert will be missed by his dog Lila. Robert proudly served his Country as a United States Marine and served his Community as a 37 year veteran of the Riverview Police Department. Visitation is on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from noon until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 6 pm both at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Memorial contributions to honor Robert’s life may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
