Rita Blicharski

Rita Blicharski, of Trenton, passed away October 6, 2020. Beloved wife to the late Frederick for 67 years. Cherished mom to the late Lawrence (Janet), Christopher (Julie), Fred, Rozanne (Steve), the late Michael, Darrin, and Eileen (Donald). Loving Busia to Bethany, Adrian, Elise, Adam, Tricia, Jessica, Amy, Alyssa, Yvonne, Henry, Ray, Serena, Ryan, Hope, the late Donald, Ashley, Dylan and Jenna. Big Busia to 21 great grandchildren. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, Raydius and Aneta Casto. She is survived by her sister, Pamela (Dennis) Peterson. Rita’s entire life was her children and grandchildren. She spent every moment bringing them together. She even bought a cottage up north, in Gladwin, and established one rule, her children and grandkids were always welcome. She worked and raised her family and is very proud of all of them. She was active in her church, and found time to quilt. She made a quilt for every one of her children and grandkids which they called their Busia Blanket. Operation Quiet Comfort was a huge passion of her and Frederick’s where they sent care packages to wounded troops overseas. She was truly a matriarch of a big Polish family.
