Ricky J. Jones

A video tribute will be added, please check back. Ricky was born on December 14, 1956 in Canada and died on January 6, 2022 at his home at the age of 65; he was of Allen Park. Beloved brother of his twin sister Darrath (the late Bill) Gazdag and Derek Jones. Cherished uncle of Dana (Ryan) Piotrowski and Dena (Joe) Calhoun. Great uncle of Stepheni Piotrowski. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Russell and Nynette Jones. He will be missed by his cat, Bigsby. Ricky graduated from St. Hedwig High School in Detroit and was retired from the Royal Oak Postal Service. He was a proud AA sponsor who helped many people; he was an active with the Downriver Alano Club. Visitaiton is on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 3 pm until 8 pm with a service on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 7 pm; both at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Memorial contributions may be made as the donor chooses.
