Richard Waldroup

Born in Monroe, Richard was the son of David and Carol (Wood) Waldroup. Richard worked as a cook for many restaurants in the local area including Michigan Bar and Grill, Pete's Garage, Johnny Joes and Harbor Inn and Ale, and at one time was co-owner of Gina's Kitchen. Most recently he had been employed by Complete Floor Service. Richard enjoyed playing poker, was a sports fanatic and loved watching ESPN. He also loved animals and children especially his nieces and nephews, but his favorite times were those spent with his family. Richard leaves to cherish his memory his mother Carol Waldroup of LaSalle; siblings: David Richter of Monroe, Davina Waldroup of Monroe, Amber (James) Dailing of Lincoln Park, Robert Cromer of LaSalle and Anthony Helton of Monroe; as well as nieces and nephews: Alyssa, Shiann, Hailey, Kamron, Robert Jr., James and Jasmine. Sadly he was preceded in death by his father, a brother Ronnie Nyitray and his grandparents.
