Richard Stuba

Richard Felix Stuba, age 86 of Woodhaven, passed away on August 27, 2023 surrounded by his family. He was the beloved husband to his wife, Shirley Stuba "Rogalski", of 66 years.

Loving father to Cheryl (Frank) Kovach, Chris (Susan) Stuba, Luann (Mark) Felske, and to his best friend, Poppy. Loving grandfather to Nick (Christina) Kovach, Alexander (Kelly) Felske, Allison (Andrew) Bowen, Madeline (John) Dombrowski, Isabelle Stuba, and Abigail Stuba. Loving great-grandfather to Owen, Emersyn, Harper, and Caleb. Loving brother to late Shirley Grabowski, late Christine Huzar, Justine Kolesky, Helene Pawlak, and Cass Stuba. He was also well loved by his nieces and nephews.

Richard was extremely proud of his position as head Pastry Chef at Ford Motor Company. He had said that he never worked a day in his life, and that was because he loved his job. He also dedicated his time to caring for the poor through St. Vincent de Paul All Saints Soup Kitchen and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed traveling, spending time with his wife and family, and loved a good joke. Richard was also  a parishioner at St. Roch Catholic Church in Flat Rock.

He will be deeply missed.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd. Trenton, MI 48183, from 1:00 to 8:00 pm. Rosary will occur on Wednesday at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will take place on Thursday, August 31, 2023; In State 9:30 am with Mass 10:00 am at St. Roch Catholic Church, 25022 Gibraltar Rd, Flat Rock, MI 48134

Burial will take place at Michigan Memorial Park Cemetery in Huron Township, MI.
