Richard Lewis Metric. Age 87 of Trenton, MI. Beloved husband of nearly 64 years to Rosalie A. Metric. Cherished father of John (Jennifer) Metric, Michael (Elisabeth) Metric, and Mark (Viki) Metric. Loving grandpa of Nathan, Katie (Derek), Evelyn, Matthew, and James. Sweet great-grandpa of Jayce. Caring brother of Robert (Shirley) Metric, and Jane (Stan) Thomas, brother-in-law to Joann Tylutki, and uncle to many nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death by his parents John and Isabel Metric, his parents-in-law Peter and Angeline Tylutki, and his siblings-in-law; William (Valeria) Tylutki, William (Lillian) Devereaux, Jerry (Angie) Crongeyer, Walter (Shirley) Tyler, Norbert (Joyce) Tylutki, and Alphonse Tylutki. Richard was beloved by many and a friend to all. He will be deeply missed by all who were blessed enough to know him. Visitation will take place on Monday, November 15, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Trenton Chapel of Martenson Funeral Home located at 3200 West Road. A rosary will be lead by the Knights of Columbus at 7:00 p.m. that evening. The Mass of Resurrection will begin the following day, Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 2623 3rd St., Trenton, MI 48183.
