Born in Wyandotte, Richard was the son of John and Catherine (Drzonek) Tuszynski. A graduate of Mt. Carmel High School in Wyandotte, he faithfully served our country in the United States Army. Richard married the love of his life, Jo Anne Hadley, February 18, 1954. Sadly she preceded him in death November 12, 2023. A lifelong farmer, he also worked for over 26 years at Ford Motor Company.
Richard was a faithful member of St. Charles Catholic Church and was a member of the UAW Local 387 and had been president of the PTA. He enjoyed watching football and junking, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family.
Richard leaves to cherish his memory his children: Gregory (Frances) Tuszynski, Jeff (Terry) Tuszynski, Pam (Barry) Ross and Carol (Brad) Brzezniak; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; a great-great grandson; as well as a son-in-law Barry Jones. In addition to his parents and spouse, he was preceded in death by a daughter Kathy Jones.
