Richard J. Smith

Richard "Rich" Smith was born on February 1, 1965 in Trenton, Michigan and died June 8, 2022 at the age of 57. Rich went to Riverview High School and was a resident of Riverview when he passed. Beloved Brother of Tim (Rona) of Fairborn, Ohio, Mike (Laura) of Brownstown, Michigan, Sue Terback of Louisville, Kentucky and Brian (Melissa) Smith of Richmond, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews, Jennifer (Jason), Hannah, Sydney, Gabe, Caden and June which he adored immensely, several Aunts and Uncles as well as many close cousins that he considered brothers and sisters. Rich was proceeded in death by his parents, Arlie and Audrey Smith and a sister in law Vicki Smith. In the early years of his work career, he traveled extensively, experienced different places - cultures and made many new friends in the process. He enjoyed the simple things in life; time with family and friends, a fine meal or drink, good music, the love of hot rods, reading old westerns, classic movies, sunrises on the river and sometimes a fine cigar. We take comfort in knowing the relationship our brother had with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as now he walks the golden streets of Heaven with loved ones passed. In lieu of a formal ceremony and visitation, the family has decided to hold a personal memorial service at a later date.
