Cherished husband of Jeanne. Loving father of Gerard (Valerie) Duchene and Robert (Yvonne) Duchene. Proud grandfather of Stefanie, Lindsay, Christine, Christopher and Daniel and great grandfather of Nathan, Maxwell, Drake, Kellen, Olivia, Nova and Isley. Special friend of Martha Mahalak. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Frank and Marcille Duchene. Visitation is on Wednesday April 28, 2021 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Interment Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Brownstown Twp. Memorial contributions to honor Richard’s life may be made as the donor chooses. To those attending visitation and/or services at the funeral home for a loved one, in keeping with CDC and State of Michigan DHHS guidelines, masks and social distancing along with limitations on number of person(s) in the chapel must be followed and will be enforced.
