Richard G. Sclabassi, Sr.

Sclabassi, Richard Guerrino Sr. October 19 2014. Age 76. Richard was born in Wyandotte on June 2 1938. He lived on Downing street in Detroit until 1952 when he moved to Allen Park where he spent his remaining years. A Senior Designer / Design Supervisor at GM for 51 years, he was dedicated to creating simple solutions to complex problems. He retired in 2007 from a career he loved. Son of the late Antonio Guerrino Sclabassi and Egea Sclabassi (Baroni).He is survived by his wife of 50 years Roberta (Lambert) and his three sons Richard Jr. (Mary), Robert (Celeste) and Ronald. His grandchildren were his passion. Nina, Kaila, Keegan, Donovan, Nathan, Mara, and Eva will miss their grandfather dearly. Survived also by his brothers Geno (Judie) and James (Patricia), and sister Linda Milkovich (Jerry). He will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
