Richard Douglas Fisher

Richard Douglas Fisher of Brownstown, MI went home to be with the Lord on June 18, 2024. Richard was born May 4, 1966 in Farmington Hills, MI to Joe and Cleda Fisher. He was married to the love of his life Kimberly Fisher for 32 years and he was the proud father of Chad Fisher.

Richard is survived by his wife Kimberly Fisher; his son Chad Fisher (Hope Stanaway fiancé); his parents Joe and Cleda Fisher; his father-in-law and mother- in-law Rev. Gary and Margaret Hawley; his sister and brother-in-law Beth and Duane Pondell; his nephews Ryan Pondell, Gary Pondell and Jared Pondell. He is also survived by Aunt Vickie Dickinson (Mike Dickinson); uncles Marvin Fisher (Colene Fisher), Ken Smith (Linda Smith), and Ron Smith (Marianne Smith). He is also survived by many other loving family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Earl and Belle Fisher and Ruby and R.J. Smith; his uncles Morris Fisher, Randall Fisher, Russell Fisher, and Marvin Smith; his Aunts Shirley Campbell, Geneva Hinkle and Joyce Overbay; his cousin Rhonda Baragiolas and his niece Holley Ann Pondell.

Richard was a Christian and a member of the Woodhaven Free Will Baptist Church in Woodhaven, MI. He loved music, cars, 4-wheelers and electronics. He loved all of his family and friends with all of his heart.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Knox Funeral Home in Barbourville, KY on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gary Hawley officiating. Burial will follow at the Fisher Cemetery.
