Raymond H. Weidner

Weidner, Raymond H. Age 97 of Grosse Ile was born December 4, 1917 in Sebewaing, MI to Ferdinand and Hilda (nee: Pobanz) Weidner, who preceded him in death and died on October 23, 2015 at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Catherine. Loving father of Marlana Krolicki and step-father to Robert McIntyre, Donald McIntyre, Janet Hlinak, Kathryn LeBlanc and Charles McIntyre. Proud grandfather of Kevin, Jeffrey and Jason Krolicki; Robert, Jr., Steven, Edward, Lester, Donald and Lance McIntyre; Wendy Hightshoe, Ruth Mashni, Lauren McIntyre Parrott, Jamie Schultz, Michael Markich, Melissa Ropac, Kelly Carter and Shannon Smith. Also survived by his great grandchildren and 2 sisters Ivadell Englehart and Elda Weidner. Raymond was proud alumni of Michigan State University and retired from Chrysler where he served as a chemist and plant manager; he loved fishing, duck hunting, gardening and coin collecting. Funeral service Monday 10 am at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd. Visitation Sunday 4 - 8 pm and Monday 9 - 10 am at the funeral home.
