Raymond Barden

Raymond Barden was born on November 11, 1965, to Shirley Deno and Allen Stuck. He was later adopted by his grandparents, Alberta and Marlin Barden. Ray passed away on June 3, 2023. He was born in Trenton, raised in Trenton, lived in Trenton, and even passed away in Trenton. His whole life was in Trenton. Ray had recently retired from the Trenton Chrysler Engine Plant after many years of service. While working at Chrysler, he met many people and made many friends. In his younger years he was an avid hunter. Ray enjoyed bargain shopping, going to flea markets, and collecting all the treasures he could find. He enjoyed travelling up north and canoeing with his friends. Ray loved to have a good time and was always the life of the party. Above all else he loved his daughters, all three of them.

Ray was a loving father to Olivia Barden (21), Ashley (Abe) Yousef (26), and Paige Barden (29). He was the proud grandpa to Ameer Yousef (3) and Rayann Yousef (2). Ray is also survived by many extended family members and tons of friends that have turned into family over the years. Ray was loved by all.

Visitation will be at the Trenton Chapel of the Martenson Family of Funeral Homes of Thursday, June 8, 2023, from 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM. There will be another visiting hour on Friday, June 9, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at the Trenton Chapel. Ray’s funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday at the Trenton Chapel. After the funeral service, we will be driving in procession to Oak Ridge Cemetery to witness the burial.
