Anders, Ray N. “Pops” of Taylor, MI passed away at his home on Monday, May 16, 2022 at the age of 81. Beloved father of Mike Anders and Heather (Robert) Ziolkowski. Cherished grandfather of Haley Anders, Destiny Anders, Tyler Ziolkowski, Kayla Anders, Ciarra Ziolkowski, Ella Anders, Eric Anders, Aiden Anders, and Jaden Anders. Dear great-grandfather of Carter Lanzilotti, Jaylin Green, Kensley Green, and Mila Henley. Loving brother of Marie (Howard) Leroy. Caring ex-husband of Joann Anders. Ray was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Mary Jane Anders and his siblings: Bill Anders, Robert (Georgette) Anders, Mary (the late Don) Droege, Montie Kerley, and Frederick (the late Maryann) Anders. Ray proudly served his country while in the United States Navy; A profession that took him to all corners of the world. He enjoyed spending time with his family, golfing, and outdoor activities. He will be deeply missed by many loving family and friends. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 3200 West Road. A celebration of life has been set for June 11th, 2022 at 10:30am at The Haven Church of God located at 18846 West Rd. Woodhaven, MI 48183. There will be a luncheon to immediately follow the celebration at Haley Anders located at 1401 Philomene Lincoln Park, MI 48194. Please contact the funeral home for any questions.
