Ray Knabusch

Born June 25, 1943 in Monroe, Ray was the son of Donald and Myrtle (Hoffman) Knabusch. A 1961 graduate of Monroe High School, he married the love of his life, Margo Bleyaert, on November 22, 1968. A devoted family man, Ray was a lifelong farmer working with his family. He had been president of the Maybee Farmers Co-Op, was a Syngenta Seed Dealer, was on the Raisinville Township Board of Reviews and bred and raised American Saddlebred Horses. Ray attended St. Mary Catholic Church with his wife, he enjoyed playing Fast Pitch Softball and was an avid hunter, but his most treasured times were those spent with his family.

Ray leaves to cherish his memory, Margo, his wife of the past 55 years; his son Lonnie (Andrea) Knabusch; two grandsons: Kyle (Tatum) Knabusch and Corey (fiancé: Jazlyn Clark) Knabusch; as well as four siblings: Dale Knabusch, Dean (Sharon) Knabusch, Donna (Richard) Gray and Marj (Paul) Assenmacher; and his beloved Brittany Spaniel, Brandy. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and an infant grandson.
