Randall Coy Katchmar

Randall Coy Katchmar, age 77 of Monroe, passed away February 5, 2023.

Born in Dearborn, Randall was the son of Henry and Mildred (Rose) Katchmar. A graduate of Edsel Ford High School in Dearborn, he married the love of his life, Margaret “Peggy” Sokol on November 21, 1976. Randall and Peggy were longtime residents of Coral Spring Florida. He worked as a Business Manager for Toys-R-Us. He and Peggy then owned and operated a chain of Buscemi’s Pizza restaurants in Florida. Randall was a true “people person” who knew no strangers and a dog lover to Brownie and Biscuit.

Randall leaves to cherish his memory, Peggy, his wife of the past 46 years; children: Tara (Gary) Gantert, Kelly Katchmar, Chris Winland and Holly Winland; as well as 6 grandchildren: Kyle, Valerie, Natalie, Justin, Kaitlyn and Clemson. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Richard Katchmar.
