Ramona J. Basham

Basham, Ramona J. of River Rouge was born on February 15, 1946 in Shelbyville, Tennessee and died on February 25, 2016 at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital at the age of 70. Beloved wife of Adrian. Loving mom of Ginny (Jimmy) Holloway, the late James Kenneth Teal, Robert (Violet) Teal, Johnathan Teal, Elizabeth Basham, Regina (the late Jerry) Marks, James (Debbie) Basham, Melinda Chapman and Virgil (Wanda) Basham. Also survived by 26 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren as well as 1 brother and 2 sisters. In addition to her son she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, her parents Joseph and Lena Wheeler, 1 brother and 2 sisters. Ramona enjoyed traveling and going on vacation; she loved to watch the sun set. Visitation is on Monday from 3 - 9 pm at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Funeral service Tuesday 12 noon at the funeral home.
