Ralph Robert Pasola

Pasola, Ralph Robert passed away peacefully on November 14, 2016 days before his 93rd birthday. He was born on November 18, 1923 to Louis and Marian Pasola in Trenton, New Jersey. Ralph toured Europe with the 16th Armored Division Band. He was present for the liberation of Pilsen, Czechoslovakia. While stationed in Arkansas he met the love of his life, Betty. They soon married and started their family in Trenton, New Jersey; later relocating to Trenton, Michigan where he was employed by McLouth Steel working as an accountant in the engineering department for 36 years. Nothing made him happier than the site of his beautiful wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who knew him as Ralph and Grandpa. He was an avid golfer and sports lover who fell in love with the maize and blue once he made Michigan his home. He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Betty; son Ralph (Chris); daughter Betsy (Matt) O'Donnell; grandchildren: Kate, Emily, Shane (Andrea), Pat (Sarah) and Bill (Dianne); and great grandchildren: Lauren, Sullivan, Connor and Kellen. There is no visitation at the funeral home. Ralph will lie in state on Saturday 9:30 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2565 3rd Street, Trenton, MI until time of Funeral Liturgy at 10 am.
