Rachel Skeans

Skeans, Rachel. Age 95 of Trenton, formerly of Detroit. January 14, 2017. Rachel was born and raised near Huntington, West Virginia. Beloved wife of the late William Skeans. Loving mother of Mary Susan Hulshoff, William (Judy) Skeans and John (Janet) Skeans. Proud grandmother of Jill, Joshua, Rachel, Jacob, Jeff and Jonathan. Great grandmother of Eldon and Clara. Dear sister of Bessie Fortner and Ruth Asbury and sister-in-law to Josie Merritt and Millie Skeens. Also survived by her many nieces, nephews, cousins other loving family and friends. Preceded in death by parents, 5 brothers and 4 sisters. Rachel was a longtime attendee of the Little Ida Old Regular Baptist Church.
