Quincy Manning

Quincy was born on May 19, 1925 in Grethel, Kentucky and died on November 22, 2017 at Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital at the age of 92; she was of Lincoln Park. Beloved wife of the late Louis. Loving mother of the late Janice G. (the late Larry) Good and of Darnell L. Stellute, Emadell (Gary) Robertson, Donald E. Manning and Dennis Manning. Proud grandma of Larry (Jacqui), Laura (David), Tina, Tammy (Tommy), Tracy (Charles), Brooke (Al), Louis, Eric (Mary) and Jacqueline. Also survived by her great grandchildren, great great grandchildren and one brother Ray (the late Maxine) Parsons as well as other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Isaac and Maggie (nee: Hall) Parsons and 10 brothers and sisters. Family was Quincy's love in life; she also loved to sew and be out in the garden. Visitation is on Saturday, November 25, 2017 from 2 – 8 pm and on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 10 am until the time of the service on Sunday at 12 noon all at The Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 10915 Allen Rd. (Corner of Goddard). Interment will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Flat Rock. Memorial contributions to honor Quincy's life may be made as the donor chooses.
