Pietro "Peter" Vespa

Pietro “Peter” Vespa of Lincoln Park, Michigan passed away in the early hours of Thursday, September 21, 2023 at the age of 70. Beloved father of Nadia Erwin. Cherished grandfather of Dominic, Lucas, and the late Angel Erwin, whom he now joins in Heaven. Loving brother of Sindia (James) Greenawalt, Dennis (Gail) Vespa, Gina (Luca) Miceli, and Victor Vespa. Dear uncle of Steven (Rochelle) Greenawalt, Kelly Lennie, Joseph (Andrea) Miceli, Michael (Alisha) Miceli, and Matthew (Jacqueline Victor) Miceli. Peter is also survived by many loving cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Vittorio and

Romanina Vespa. Peter can be remembered as a detailed artist when it came to sketching as he loved to draw. Northern Michigan was another love of his as he enjoyed the outdoors and all the beauty it has to offer. He was also a skilled butcher and was always willing to help a friend process their deer meat during deer hunting season. Also, he loved to laugh and joke, which his family and friends thoroughly enjoyed. Peter loved classic rock and especially The Beatles. He will be deeply missed

and fondly remembered.

Visitation for Peter will be held on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes located at 10915 Allen Road, 48101. The funeral service will be held that same evening at 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Peter will eventually have his remains entombed at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights alongside his parents.
