Phyllis N. Baker

Phyllis Naoma Mayes was born on January 21, 1926 in Orange, California to Charlie and Carrie Mayes. The family later moved to Dexter, Missouri. Phyllis lived in Missouri until moving to Michigan after graduating from high school in 1943. She married Frank Baker on September 30, 1950 and gave birth to her daughter Kris in 1953, both of whom have preceded her in death. She is survived by her three nieces, Janet Edwards, Juanita Jackson, and Loreta Rea, sister-in-law Faye Clippert, brother-in-law Lane Baker, several cousins and many, many friends. She will be missed by all who loved her. Phyllis went home to be with her Lord on April 7, 2013.
