Phyllis I. Proud

Phyllis was born on June 14, 1936 in Sylva, North Carolina and passed peacefully on August 31, 2016 at Beaumont Hospital Trenton at the age of 80. Loving mom of Jeff Proud, Steven Proud and Michelle Proud (Phil Hylander). Proud grandma of Cody Proud. Dearest sister of Margaret (the late Dewey) Henry and the late Richard Henry. Dearest sister-in-law to Dawn Henry Rodriguez. Also survived by other loving family and friends. Also preceded in death by her parents Frank and Mae (nee: Harris) Henry. Earlier in her life Phyllis loved to dance; she competed in and won dance competitions with her brother as her partner. She loved life and bravely battled cancer. Phyllis loved to watch baseball and football. Her family would like to thank Beaumont Hospital Trenton for their excellent care. Over the year Phyllis considered the hospital a home away from home where she was well cared for and thought of them as her family. Memorial contributions to honor her memory may be made to the breast cancer charity of the donor's choice.
