Philip Robert Blakemore

June 9, 1946 — May 18, 2024

Philip Robert Blakemore

Born in Detroit, Philip was the son of Clifton and Norma (Miller) Blakemore. After losing Clifton at a young age, Philip was raised by stepdad Hank and mother Norma. A high school graduate, he worked as a Maintenance Trades Supervisor for Ford Motor Company for over 32 years, retiring in 2005. Philip was an avid fan of all Detroit Sports teams (GO Lions!!) and the University of Michigan Football, but his most treasured times were those shared with his children.

Philip leaves behind his children, to cherish his memory: Donna (Robert Priest) Blakemore, John (Lara) Blakemore, Gary (Janet) Blakemore, Kerri Yuhas, Mel Godbee, Trisha (David Johnson) Blakemore and Terri (Aaron) Willman; as well as 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Sadly he was preceded in death by his parents, 3 siblings, and 1 grandchild.
