Philip M. Lightfoot

Click on the tribute wall above to view Philips video tribute. Philip M. Lightfoot 96, of Trenton, passed away on July 11, 2020. Visitation will take place at the Martenson Funeral Home, Ridge Chapel in Trenton on Tuesday, July 14th from 3:00-8:00 pm with the service on Wednesday at 10:00 am. Phil retired from Ford Motor Co. working for 20 years after serving 10 years in the Air Force and 10 years in the Navy during World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. Phil was preceded in death by Lou, his wife of 30 years, daughter Beverly Lightfoot and stepsons Gary and John Sargent. He is survived by his daughter Katherine Lightfoot (Randy), step children Patricia and George Sargent and daughter-in-law Deborah Sargent. He leaves 5 grandchildren, Craig Sargent (Tonia), Kevin Sargent (Victoria), Carrie Vitale (Vince), Kristy Sargent, and Alyssa Sargent. Phil also leaves 11 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He will be missed by all, but especially Tonia, his “buddy” over the years.
