Pauline Kalisz

Pauline Kalisz, age 95 of Grosse Ile, passed away June 1, 2024.

Born in Honaker, Virginia, Pauline was the daughter of Thurman and Edna (Compton) Deel. She married the love of her life, John Kalisz, on November 22, 1948. Sadly he preceded her in death May 18, 2016. A dedicated homemaker, Pauline was a faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and West Shore Country Club. She enjoyed golfing and baking, but her most treasured times were those spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pauline leaves with cherished memories of her children: Brenda (Timothy) Nawrocki, Janet (William) Rapin, Diane (Gerald) Heiss and John (Vicky) Kalisz III; grandchildren: Matthew (Katrina) Heiss, Christine (Robert Thornton) Nawrocki, John (Audrie) Kalisz IV, Patrice (Jack) Leich, Jonathan (Abby) Heiss, Brian (Tara) Nawrocki, Scott Kalisz and Aimee (Chris) Eggleston; her great grandchildren: Milo Heiss, Jaime Heiss, Maggie Heiss, Henry Heiss, Jack Leich, William Leich, Isabella Kalisz, Anna Kalisz and Kendall Heiss, Hailey Heiss, Ava Heiss, Jackson Thornton, and Elliott Eggelston; as well as a brother JB Deel.

Memorial contributions in honor of Pauline may be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
