Paul Robert Deschaw was born on January 18, 1931 in Detroit, MI and died on January 15, 2017 at the age of 85; he was of Woodhaven. Beloved husband of 67 years to Jacqueline. Loving dad of the late Cathy and Ronald Martin, the late Carolyn and David Drummond, Paul, Jr. (Lori), Cheryl (Lawrence) Kearney, Cynthia (Lee) Chadwell, Robert, and Christine (Al) Jennings. Dearest grandfather of Jason, Sarah, Scott, Michele, Robert, Lawrence III, Daniel, Ellen, Heather, Andrea, Evan, Alexandria, William, Richard, Nathan, Samuel, Amanda, Alison and the late Joshua. Also survived by his great grandchildren, one sister Mary Gertrude Livernois as well as other loving family and friends. In addition to his two daughters and grandson he is preceded in death by his parents William and Madeline (nee: McLellan); two sisters Rita Nelson and Shirley Lockman and one brother William Angus Deschaw. Paul cherished his family and he enjoyed golfing and bowling. Visitation is Thursday, January 19, 2017 from 2 – 8 pm with a Vigil service Thursday at 7 pm both at The Trenton Chapel of The Martenson Family of Funeral Homes, 3200 West Rd., Trenton. Paul will lie in state on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 11:30 am until funeral liturgy at 12 noon both at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Trenton.
