Paul F. Altman, age 88, of Lincoln Park, MI passed away on December 13, 2021. Born and raised from humble beginnings in Rudyard, MI, Paul went on to serve his country as a first generation American in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Upon returning home, Paul met his beloved wife of 61 years, Gwynne and they became the loving parents of Arlene (Neil) Barber, Curt Altman, Kent (Ria) Altman, and Kelly Altman. He was the Proud Papa of 9 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Paul took pride in hard work and had a career as a Millwright spanning over 30 years with Edward C. Levy until his retirement in 1995, while also coaching Lincoln Park North Little league for 19 years. Paul is survived by his brother Francis (Joanie) Altman and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Albert and Anna Altman, 5 sisters, and 1 brother. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Allen Park Chapel of Martenson Funeral Home. There will be an military honor guard service at 7:00 p.m. that evening. Please visit Paul's online guestbook on his tribute wall to share memories and leave condolences.
